Kim Ji-won edits Seoul Beauty Journal from her base in Hannam, where she reads the city's beauty corridors the way a city columnist reads a neighbourhood — by walking it. Previously features editor at a Seoul cultural quarterly, she launched Seoul Beauty Journal in 2026 to cover the texture of Apgujeong, Cheongdam, Hannam, and Hongdae through long-form editorial that resists the listicle. She holds a degree in Korean Literature from Sogang University.
